I think he is an odd duck, but that is all there is. Yeah, he is a yankee, but yankees think that southerners are odd too. He really hasn't said anything to me other than that one post earlier. I fired right back at him and that was that.

I dont know him in person like mega does, and I respect everyones opinon especially the right of freedom of speech.

But...I also don't agree with how some ppl on here have said "oh he's just a yankee." My best friend is from Dayton and is without a doubt one of the nicest guys I know, him and his wife.

Just as we don't like being pigeon holed as inbred rednecks, not all ppl from the north are pricks.

A suggestion: what if we developed a system where the top 25 posters vote on stuff like this. The mods of course will also vote but there vote can count more. If you look at the ppl w/the top 25 most posts, everyone on here knows who we are, and we are all fairly good who would make fairly good decisions. I mean we are the ones who use this forum the most.

hes not my role model by any stretch. If he were, I would have died from a crisco induced heart attack years ago.

I wouldnt even call the guy a friend, just someone I know from tailgates. If anything he and Coeburn Cane are much tighter.

I wouldnt even bother defending him if I felt like he was attacking everyone. I just think its ridiculous that the only reason the old timers forum is in place is to complain about people on the other forums.

I gotta step back and say its just a message board. The less time I spend on here the better. Theres more problems than happiness for most people on here it seems. Thats no disrespect to any of you guys, thats just my perception of this place. Have at it fellas. This place just isnt that important to me. It would just be so much easier to roll with the punches or use the ignore feature.

I sent this to him in a PM. FWIW--he's getting called out for doing some pretty questionable things at tailgates/group outings on COH, and I'm sick of how he's acting on here. Below is his last shot. He either straightens up or I'll ban him.

I just don't want anyone on here thinking any less of me b/c of the way he acts. I don't want his behavior reflecting on me as a moderator. I can't allow him to piss away what little respect most of us mods get on here because it will render me ineffective if that happens.

With other forums trolls are instantly removed.
He's had chances to prove himself otherwise, but he hasn't.
